Uganda declares end of Ebola disease outbreak.

Uganda today declared the end of the Ebola disease outbreak caused by Sudan ebolavirus, less than four months after the first case was confirmed in the country’s central Mubende district on 20 September 2022. 

CNN lists Uganda among top global tourist destinations.

In its article titled, ‘Where to travel in 2023: The best destinations to visit’, CNN cited the country’s expansive shores of Lake Victoria, snowy Rwenzori mountains and healthy wildlife as some of the reasons to travel to the Pearl of Africa.
