Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Tour

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Ngoni Safaris guide and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided tour of Kigali, one of Africa’s cleanest and safest cities. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and enjoy panoramic views of the city before checking in.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, drive north through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside to Volcanoes National Park.

Arrive in time for lunch before spending the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or visiting the nearby Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to learn about Rwandan traditions.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Twin Lakes

After an early breakfast, head into Volcanoes National Park for an exciting Golden Monkey Trek.

After lunch, visit the picturesque Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo or simply relax at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda)

After breakfast, cross into Uganda through the Cyanika Border and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy spectacular views of the forest from your lodge.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking

Today is the highlight of your safari.

After an early briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, begin your unforgettable mountain gorilla trek through Bwindi Forest.

Spend one magical hour observing a habituated gorilla family before returning to the lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the scenic Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy a game drive en route before continuing to your lodge overlooking the Kazinga Channel.

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, Uganda kobs and numerous bird species.

In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing tea plantations and beautiful crater lakes.

Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking.

Later visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to numerous monkey species, birds and local community projects.

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey north to Uganda’s largest national park, Murchison Falls National Park.

Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge overlooking the Nile.

Day 11: Game Drive, Nile Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls

Enjoy an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile in search of lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and numerous antelope species.

In the afternoon, take the famous boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls before visiting the Top of the Falls to witness the Nile squeeze through a narrow 7-metre gorge.

Day 12: Rhino Tracking – Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and drive south to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an unforgettable guided rhino tracking experience on foot.

Continue to Entebbe, arriving in the evening for your final overnight stay before your departure flight.
