Budongo Eco Lodge

Budongo eco lodge, is a lodge situated at Budongo forest bordering Murchison falls national park in North Western Uganda, the lodge is positioned in an area to provide you with breath taking views of the canopy of Budongo forest. Budongo forest is one of Uganda’s best kept secret with over 600 chimpanzees and many tree species found here, the lodge offers very simple but comfortable accommodation cabins and also contains large dormitory rooms for visitors coming in groups. The rooms are well furnished with double beds, mosquito nets and private verandas where one can relax and view the superb forest canopy.

Budongo eco lodge offers continental meals and variety of drinks served from an onsite restaurant.Free internet is also available in public areas.

The lodge has got four dormitory rooms and five private cabins with an on site restaurant, visitors centre with a lot of ancient fossils and a craft shop  offering many hand made materials to take back home to your loved ones or for remembrance. The check-in time to the lodge is by 2:00pm and check-out by 10:00am in the morning African time.

Visitors are always advised to come well prepared to live the forest and to carry things like, comfortable hiking shoes, insect repellents, torch, binoculars, sun glasses and sun lotion among other requirements.
