Buhoma Lodge, a top quality and intimate property, commands spectacular and uninterrupted views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the rare and elusive Mountain Gorilla. One of only two lodges situated within the National Park, we’re a short walking distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking and other activities in the area. An elevated central lounge area, complete with bar, dining and spa facilities, offers a cosy, comfortable environment to discuss the day’s activities around the fireplaces which add atmosphere and warmth in the cool evenings.

Buhoma Community Haven Lodge is a a quality mid range safari lodge offering accommodation to travelers visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the rare and elusive mountain gorillas.
Located in Bugambira, the lodge offers accommodation to visitors looking to gorilla tracking in Buhoma and Rushaga. The lodge is located in a distance of 20km from the Rushaga trailhead.
This stylish midrange lodge has been completely renovated. It was the original Buhoma Homestead that used to offer accommodation to budget travelers. The lodge has five self contained lodges and now offers top quality, intimate accommodation for our guests’ enjoyment. There are 2 beautifully designed twin/double cottages and 1 family cottage, all self-contained (en suite).

This lodge was constructed with support from people of America (USADF)’ and it is a local community project aimed at empowering the local people that live adjacent to the park.
3. Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge
Volcanoes Bwindi is an eco-lodge that overlooks the forest canopy of Uganda’s beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and specialises in gorilla-trekking expeditions. Built and run on sound ecological principles, the lodge uses natural energy sources such as solar power and controls water consumption to reduce its environmental footprint.
The Buhoma region of Impenetrable Forest has at least three habituated gorilla families that live in the thick, damp tropical undergrowth. Tracking them is quite challenging but the rewards are great. Home also to monkeys, chimpanzees and countless butterflies and forest birds, this pocket of primeval forest is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth and has been designated a World Heritage Site.
