On this tour clients will benefit a visit of 2 Parks at the same time, Mikumi NP clients will have 2 nights in mikumi and a visit to udzungwa to explore the udzungwa waterfalls, arriving at udzungwa NP, clients will do the hiking and swim on the water falls after the hikki. Udzungwa is very famous for its Monkeys and Birds species. The picnic lunch will take place at the beautiful view overlooking the kilombero river.
Itinerary
Mikumi National Park
Day 1 – Dar es salaam – Mikumi NP
You will be picked up from your hotel at 0330am or from the airport and start your safari driving to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in Mikumi at mid-morning and will direct go for game drive to explore the park. Mikumi National Park is one of Tanzania’s most famous parks. After your game drive you will leave the park and head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Mikumi – Masai Boma -Udzungwa NP
After breakfast you will leave the lodge and start your safari towards the Udzungwa mountains for a day of hiking. On your way you will stop first for Masai Boma for to visit the masai and learn how they live for 1 or 2 hours, the Masai mamaa will be the guide to explain the overall life of the maasai people. Then you will proceed to udzungwa Upon arrival you will meet our guide/rangers who will accompany you on the hiking tour. Udzungwa Mountains National Park is well known for its excellent hiking, trekking, mountain climbing, and forest walks. The most popular hiking tour is up to the Sanje waterfalls, looking for monkeys, swimming in plunge pools, and enjoying the spectacular view while enjoying a picnic lunch. After your hiking tour you will descend the mountains and join your driver to start your journey back to Mikumi for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3 – Mikumi Nationa Park – Dar es salaam
After breakfast you will check out and begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam. The journey back will include an exciting game drive to give you another chance to see any of the wildlife you might have missed on the first day. You will arrive back in Dar es Salaam before dark where you will be dropped off at the airport or back at the hotel. This is where your safari will end.
